2021 - Gerustbau Muehlhan GmbH acquired (Germany)

2020 - Rapid EPS edge protection system product launched (EU)

2020 Benchmark Scaffolding’s UK Hoist Division acquired and merged with Taylor's Hoists (UK)

2019 Lyndon Scaffolding acquired and merged with SGB business in the UK to operate as Lyndon SGB (UK)

2018 QuikDeck suspended access system launched Internationally as BrandSafway product

2018 Venko business acquired (UK & Netherlands)

2017 - Brand merges with Safway to create BrandSafway

2017 Taylor's Hoists acquired by Lyndon Scaffolding (UK)

2014 - Brand re-introduce the SGB and Hünnebeck names

2013 - Harsco sells the Harsco Infrastructure business to CD&R. At the same time, CD&R purchase Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, Inc and combine the two businesses under the Brand name

2010 - All access, formwork and industrial maintenance companies acquired by Harsco over the years, join forces to operate as Harsco Infrastructure

2009 Bell Scaffolding business acquired (Australia)

2009 ESCO Interamerica business acquired (South America)

2009 Nicol UK business acquired (UK)

1961 - Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services founded

1959 - SGB introduces shuttering, the predecessor to modern formwork

1949 - SGB enters the Powered Access market with a range of Simon Hydraulic Platforms

1944 - Introduction of the first frame access system

1936 - Safway founded

1929 - Dr. Emil Mauritz Hünnebeck founds the Rautennetz GmbH company (Germany)

1920 - Launch of tubular steel scaffolding with clamp fixings

1919 - Tubular Scaffolding Company Limited becomes officially founded as Scaffolding Great Britain (SGB) (UK)

1918 - Launch of the 'Universal Coupler' - marking the transition from ‘timber & rope’ to ‘steel tubes & couplers’

1909 - ‘Scaffixer’ coupling device introduced to replace rope fixings

1909 - Three companies, Pitou, Beinecke and Davidson, found Patent Construction Systems (USA)

1905 - Daniel Palmer-Jones founds Tubular Scaffolding Company Limited (UK)
